We've been out for the day in the Yorkshire Dales market town of Skipton - pictures to follow later.

Now I love a bit of charity shopping, always looking out for a bargain is great fun so today when I spotted this Konica Deluxe EE-Matic in a window for £10 it just had to be purchased.

Quick check over and everything is working fine, it is in amazing condition, it feels rock solid and is whisper quiet.......and I can't wait to load a roll of film to give it a try.

It has ranger finder focus with Auto and Aperture Priority exposure control.

My first 'proper' camera was a Konica Autoreflex A 35mm SLR so I have always had a soft spot for the brand - you find me a very happy BP tonight.

Looks nice- is the Selenium Cell functioning? My oldest still-working selenium meter is over 70 years old.

Nikkor-SC 5cm F1.5. And maybe 100 or so other Nikkor lenses. Maybe 60 of those are on Nikon cameras right now.

Still working - not sure how accurate it is yet.
The shutter has a very crisp and frankly beautiful sound to it, the focus ring has no slack at all and even the range finder lines up. All in all it's in stunning condition and should be a bit of fun to play with.

Just shoved a roll of Fujicolor C200 in it - been lying around the house for a while but is still (just) in date. Once its been scanned and ran through LR I don't imaging the film stock will matter too much.

Its a lovely bright sunny day here but howling a gale, been out with the dog earlier and took a few shots, I'll finish the roll later when I take the boys out.
