Finally pulled the trigger, my local Photo Shop (not to be confused with Photoshop) girl made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

A 750!

CONGRATS, Cliff!

Enjoy!

Sell the D7000 sooner than later, they only go down in price!  Just my 2 cents.

I have a 70-300, it is a very nice lens for the money.  Takes a very nice crisp image.

Good for you!

I really don't want to sell it, but the wife thinks three cameras are too many.  I say I need back-ups.  I think that I will continue to use the D7100 on the the 150-600 for birds for the crop factor.  I will test the D750 on it of course.

I'm almost there if you include the Fuji S3Pro 4.

Congrats, Cliff.

I took a serious look at the D750 when I was looking a new camera.  The D810 edged it out, but only just.  I think you have yourself a darn good camera.

I have the Sigma 70-300 DG.  Pretty versatile focal length.  :)

Well my boss at LL Bean was happy, means I will be working for a while longer.  Then I will need some FX lenses...  I was told that the oldest Bean employee in Maine is 92, don't want to go that long...

We have had rain storms of biblical proportions, 4.5 inches in a 4 hour period.  So  I finally got out to give this gem a test and of course I had to see how it performed with the Tammy.

We had a little Breakfast Club meeting this morning with some of my regulars.

Then this afternoon Deb and I hit the road.

These were taken at a local park, a Nuthatch.  I have included the full frame and cropped version.

I also got some nice butterfly pictures that I will post in another topic.

I'm liking the results.
