He didn't have to be faster than the eagle, just faster than his buddies…he wasn't. I've had this image for over a year, but just got around to processing it today, out of boredom.

Birds of pray would get fat in my neighborhood. Great shot-- I hate these rodents.

My Dad called them "Tree Rats".  They get into my birdfeeder... then they go back into the food chain ;)  for more interesting subjects, hawks, fox, etc.
