I was looking for a tripod that would collapse small enough to fit in my motorcycle saddlebags. On the B&H deal zone page I found this MeFoto Backpacker for 79usd. Only the titanium color was that price so I didn't get the orange I wanted. I've had it for about 2 weeks and it seems to be good quality. It's a little heavier and fatter in the collapsed position than I was hoping for. But it it 12.5 inches collapsed and it fits in the bag. I din't have any pictures of it yet so here's the B&H link.

Neat - I have this one: https://www.bhphotov...20s_tripod.html which isn't quite as high but is almost a pound lighter. It fits in my rucksack and goes everywhere with me.

I really like that Slik you have. Lighter weight and flip locks. Later when I have some extra cash I may get it.
