Since I ordered the Tamron 150-600, thought I'd get a monopod for it. The $$ my wife gave me for Valentine's Day paid for about half of it. I haven't been eating my Wheaties and hitting the gym, so l don't think l can use that lens handheld. The bottom section with legs is removable and you can mount a rubber foot or steel spike and use it as a conventional monopod. And the bottom section can be used as a mini tripod for tabletop or ground level use. You can unlock the bottom ballhead and swivel about 20 degrees in any direction. The top section can be unlocked and used for panning-good for video but probably not much use for stills. A Benro ballhead for it is on the way.
