Usually I buy the eBay leather half cases from China that are cheap but well made and functional. The Fuji ones are super over priced but I actually splurged a bit and got the Fuji case for the XE2. I found one on clearance so I only paid $35 vs the retail of $85, it also came with the rather nice camera wrap that I have no idea how to use    :P    and a matching leather strap that I wish was a wrist strap instead!  The case is really well made and you have access to the battery and SD card but it does cover the USB and HDMI ports. Now it only slides on but it is very secure and the front has a ridge that makes holding the XE2 super secure and it adds a bit of bulk all in all it is fantastic especially at $35 USD.

Another thing since the XE2 has a threaded shutter release I added a soft release that makes the shutter release feel fantastic.  Overall this is as close as I will ever get to the feel of a Leica!    B)

They're a nice looking camera those X-E's.

I haven't put a case on my X-T1 but I did give in and add a battery grip which is superb but makes the camera larger so I'm torn between leaving it and going back to the main ethos of having a small camera.

Thanks guys I really like the rangefinder style and the Fuji is easy to use and focus.
