The PJ has LF on his mind, I am attending a lecture from a top Philly LF photographer on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, I will be taking an Intro to LF Photography with hands on training and film development.

I just checked..just checked...not buying one.....CHECKED ;)  ;) BH. Prices range from $4K to $10K.

Jazz u can do a fraction of that cost but the larger prob is now film and transparency cost. Not as large a market as there was before. Also, the lens you might want may be be very cheap these days. There is just so much stuff you will have to buy is you go with a rail camera., but with a field camera it wont cost near as much.

NP Jazz I understand for sure. I own a Calumet Cambo Legend kit with more that my share of dollars spent. But a lot of the items devalued and not you can get something fairly cheaply. Although some stuff is still being priced out of sight. Glad you figured out that you'll be able to get a kit now.

LF is a whole different approach, it does teach patience LOL


"First we have to make you pretty"

 

Pixels are like beans, it doesn't matter how many you put in the pot, it's how well you can cook that counts.
