Hello photo friends,

My aged HP 3600 laser printer is finally giving me fits. It's about twelve years old and is giving multiple error codes.

Is there anyone out there that has a newer color laser printer and still LIKES IT? I need it for many applications, not photos as a number one task, but I do use it for color images on occasion.  Thanks

Phil, I have a Brother MFC-9130CW multi-function laser printer.  I have never used it for printing images.  We use it for our consulting business and it works great.  I love it because it's wireless and we can use it from anywhere in the house.

At some point this year, I want to start printing my images.  I'll probably look at a quality inkjet printer later this year.  :)

I have a Brother MFC9970CDW colour laser printer which works great ...also wifi so as with Mark I can print from any device from anywhere in the house. I occasionally print photos for quick copies to give the grandkids to take home, and to put on 'the rogues gallery' in the kitchen, on ordinary copy paper.. it does an acceptable job. I have also laminated the odd one for a more permanent give away. Wall hangers are still printed at a proper print shop.

Thanks you guys. I bought a Brother HL-L8260cdw, based on your my "brother's" recommendations, thanks.

Did you know HP designs their printers and sends specs to Canon to have them built? Toner carts are interchangeable.
