This was taken in fairly low light and hand held. I used my XE2 and the Neewer 35 f1.7 lens. Now this lens is pretty sharp but it is fully manual in every way. The shot is a tad soft but I shot it wide open at f1.7 and I still was at 1/8 of a sec and I had bumped up the ISO to 6400. PP in LR and cropped a bit with a square crop.
Manually focusing on the XE2 is really nice you have several options including peaking with different colors. But I find my favorite with the excellent EVF is the digital split image takes me back to my FM3a!
