700mm (500x1.4) at F4 on lens, F5.6 after adding the TC. Shot over the weekend at the Davis Mountains State Park in West Texas.

It's on a table alright but it's a very people friendly pet tarantula (NOT mine). (-:}

Near sunset, used Liveview and held the camera high up at arm's length to get this one.

 

55/1.2, wide-open on the Nikon Df.


Nikkor-SC 5cm F1.5. And maybe 100 or so other Nikkor lenses. Maybe 60 of those are on Nikon cameras right now.

Great photos everyone. I like these challenges because it makes me think.

 

But I must admit though, using the Nikkor 300mm f4 is like cheating.  Geeze I like that lens

In fact, all Ron has to do is put a Kenko extension tube on that 300 and he has it all covered
