I only got two shots off before the clouds covered everything up! But I am not good at planet spotting so I am not sure but this was taken looking SSW in Memphis at 0200 is it Jupiter I am fairly sure it is?

I took this hand held with the Nikon P900 not bad for a tiny crop sensor PS. I did set it to MF and just dialed in infinity.

Wow... Very impressive, Jim!

Certainly looks like Jupiter taking into account the dark patch on the left-bottom section of the Planet.

Wow!  Nice work.

Are those moons in the second shot?

OK, Jim, I'm seriously impressed with your camera.  :)

OK, Jim, I'm seriously impressed with your camera.  :)

Have to be honest I do not know someone told me it was actually Saturn, Mars and Venus something about they are all visible this weekend in a line but I can not confirm that.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm not one to shout to loud about my photos since I am average at best but this blew me away that I could even make out Jupiter I am still smiling. :D

I'm sure it's Jupiter. I'll check with my astronomy software when I get home.

Saturn would be whiter, and I doubt you could images any of Saturn's moons.
