I have a new aquisition... .. a shiny almost brand spanking new D300s. It has only fired 7 shots (three are mine)... came complete with box and all accessories.. most still in their plastic bags... all for the princely sum of $NZ450.  I have attached my trusty AF 50mm 1.8..  which doesn't see the light of day much these days.

Attached File  20170510_201644.jpg   158.89KB   0 downloads

My niece asked recently if I had any 'old' DSLRs that I didn't need... I need them all :P :D .. but when I saw this D300s advertised at Photo & Video I thought that would make a good 'learning' camera... so here it is... soon to be on permanent loan to my niece and her three young lady daughters.

Fantastic camera - awful sensor - should still be fun to shoot with.

I hear your Nephew in Toronto could use a D5, next time you don't have a camera doing much around the house! Just saying ....

Good find. My D300 served me well from Jan 2009 until I got the D7100 in Jan 2014. Today it serves infrared duty.
