They can be staged or natural, the subject can be anything from people to buildings. As usual any camera including the Nikon Z7,  yes Dennis this was your challenge request so you have to shoot one with the Z7! :D

This is a First Nations Welcome figure in Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, BC.

An early, foggy morning along the waterfront.

Nice shot Gordon! It reminds me of a statue you might see in Egypt in front of one of the pyramids. Jeff

In late June, we had a chance to visit the Nk'Mip Desert Cultural Centre, in Osoyoos.  Osoyoos claims to be Canada's only desert, and is the home of two Desert Centres.

One is operated by a non-profit society, and is a great resource for information about this eco-system.  Visitors can take a walking tour, led by a wildlife biologist.

The second centre is operated by the Osoyoos First Nation.  Islander has previously posted images, including this sculpture.

I used Nik Silver Efex Pro 2, to convert this to a silhouette.  Then made some minor adjustments in PS.  Thanks for looking everyone.  :)

Nice rendering in B&W silhouette.  Sure is a different take on it.

I wanted to post sooner, but I was creatively stumped by this challenge.  Then I had a brainstorm!  Now, I have a few ideas, will try more! Great Challenge, Jim!
