New Year's Eve the local camera shop had a pristine 135 2.8E for less than I can get one for on Ebay or KEH. Now I have all 8 Series E lenses. Sharpness and IQ is really good. The built in hood is nice. I put it on the D300 and went out in the misting rain and got a few good ones. The last 4 are with the 3T. If the rain ever stops I'll get more outdoor shots and post them.

You have to be happy about that,

Contrast and colour look excellent!

My old 135 2.8 Ai is also quite nice, although my 180mm  2.8 ED Ai is better

In today's world, many think that good images can be made only with new lenses. It probably needs some experience to realize, that this is wrong.

With my pictures, I often noticed no difference whether I now have a new AF-S G, or an old AI-s used.

Congratulations on your great collection.

So true,

Some even manage great images with their iPhones!   Guess who!

BTW, that lens looks in new condition!
