A few of the graffiti pieces I saw in Kensington Market the other day. This area is a great area for murals and street art. Every alley, nook and cranny has some form of art.

Nice images, Jason.

Like Jim, I'm a big fan of street art when it's well done.  That is definitely well done.  :)

Thanks, Mark. :)

There is a lot of beautiful street art in Toronto but also a lot of mediocre stuff (everyone starts somewhere). We also have a huge problem with tagging (though now a lot of taggers are using stickers for their art which isn't as bad). Sometimes, the nice murals get lightly tagged over (as you can see in the 4th image, someone wrote CUZD CROW with a symbol on the lady's forehead). Other times, taggers will go and destroy a beautiful mural. There was a code at one time where murals were off limits to taggers but those days seem to be gone...

Also tagged with one or more of these keywords: graffiti, kensington market, toronto, nikon d3100, street art, faces, murals, spray paint
