Is it me or is it a bit underwhelming, not sure what I expected but I was thinking at least 24-26mp and north of 15 FPS. But I might have had unrealistic expectations.

God bless all those in harms way and Go Navy!

I'll wait for the D7 or beyond!

Did someone say this is still a hobby?

l've seen some Youtube videos on it. Seems it's almost a D5. Someone said it's a great camera for 2014 or 15.

Underwhelming release.  Reminds me of the D810.  Not quite enough there for me to care. If you are buying a new D5, then this is a great new improvement.

I think the problem here is that Nikon needs to manage these announcements more carefully.  This is an improvement on an existing camera rather than some exciting new release.  I think if you advertise it as a new release, you piss off all the Media Mouth Pieces who just like to shred Nikon when they take a mini step forward.

It has some nice features, but hardly anything to label it a new camera or set the expectations everyone had and was expecting. I think they should have called this a D5S or D5X, certainly not a 6.
