==========================================================
Digital: D610 backed up by a D1x.  Quoted from an unknown source by a fellow planeteer, "Never get rid of a working D1x." I've got to agree.

Film: N90s, F3, F100, F4s, C330s. A few lenses.

Why film photography? I like shooting with the equipment. 6x6 Velvia slides from a C330 have an appeal all their own.

Why automated 35mm/Digital cameras? Event photography is about capturing moments. It often requires quick response. Well done automaton can be your friend or your enemy. It all depends on knowing what it can and can't do. "A man's got to know his (camera's) limitations." paraphrasing Dirty Harry...

Thanks, guys, NIK is a very cool suite.  I have been looking at  the ANALOG set of tools, it really is an interesting set.

I like how you can turn an image into a very old looking and tired photo.  You can adjust for different old cameras, film, aging, etc.  Very robust and fun to explore.

I just hope DxO gets its act together.

Nice shot, Art.  It looks like both you and Margo had fun with this idea.  :)

We did, when I showed her the gas mask ... she was “in”!

It’s all in how you present it.

Did you use the DXO version?

I did, and it crashed on me once with Analog.

They were supposed to fix these little bugs, evidently not.

I downloaded the Free Trial.  You can try it out and then decide if you want to send them a PITY $50..... or keep using the free version.

I think you need to get your sensor looked at.

JK... nice stuff.

I haven't seen the need to fork over $50 yet. I wish they would at least make a statement of direction.

Thanks, Dennis.

Nothing wrong with my sensors.  You must have green dye in your eyes!!!  :P  :P Affecting your vision!!!

They seem to be adrift of late.  And, if you ask them a question they don't like, they get a nasty undertone to their response!
