When using a Black Rapid double (the new "breathe" model is not as good as the previous model IMHO) a camera with no 1/4-20 socket on the lens, must be connected by the tripod socket. On cameras with a vertical button, the unit may rub against the photographer's side and get hip activated. I gave this subject great scrutiny last night at an event. The camera with 70-200 on the right side was no problem. However the 24-70 on the left had many floor and wall photos. I heard the camera most times and moved it, to stop. I didn't want to lock it, but that's what I had to begin doing. More experimentation needed.
