About a month ago, I found a very nice Hasselblad 500 C/M, along with a 80mm f/2.8 lens. I'd previously owned a similar Hasselblad, but I've been shooting more medium format film, and this one was just too nice to let pass.
I loaded the camera with some Ektar 100 and took some shots to test sharpness, shutter and f/stop, and just general operations.
This building is one which is abandoned in Detroit, on West Jefferson Avenue, outside downtown and just south of Historic Fort Wayne. The image is pretty much straight up, only cropping to correct the scan. Ektar 100 provides some vivid colors, and the doors of the garage are really that orange.
