HMCS Calgary is a Halifax-class frigate that has served in the Canadian Forces and Royal Canadian Navy since 1995.
Here she is in silhouette just outside Esquimalt Harbour near Victoria, BC in front of the mountains of the Olympic Penninsula in Washington State.
Esquimalt, BC is the home of Canada's Pacific Fleet.

Great shot Gordon! We pulled into Esquimalt once back in 1978 for a “mid patrol break” when I was in the Navy. Had a great time! Jeff

Nice shot, Gordon.

I had a tour of the Calgary, when she made a Port call a few years ago.  Impressive.  :)

She's the same class as the Nanaimo which visited us as her namesake when she was first commissioned.
Very impressive ships for sure!
