l got it when l ordered the Canon M50 about 3 weeks ago. Finally had time to get it installed. lt supports RAW files from all of my cameras. Elements 11 that l had only supported RAW from my older cameras. Just recently started to shoot RAW+JPEG. Before then l was a JPEG only shooter. Christmas day l was taking pics of Crystal. The first few images were shot in manual as l forgot to put camera in aperture priority. They were overexposed about 2 stops. The JPEGs were trashed but RAW saved the day. l was able to make them look good. When it comes to editing software, l'm slow and stubborn to change. l used Elements 11 from 2012 and used Elements 2.0 from 2005-2012 :-)

l like it so far. it's very similar to my Elements 11, so making the transition will be easy. And there's a few extra features that 11 doesn't have.

Bill do you use it for organizing and how do you handle the side car files on raw edits?

l don't use the organizer. l just save photos to folders that l create. And l've been just opening 1 at a time in RAW. RAW is new to me-getting familiar with everything in the RAW world.

l don't use the organizer.

Heh, heh.  I guarantee that you will eventually use something.

I like LR because organizing and editing is combined.  PS users can use Adobe Bridge.  Does Elements come with its own organizer?  :)

PSE is a great product. You can also combine it with the Google NIK software suite!

Enjoy!

I have Elements 14 and it does. What I want to learn how to do is batch editing if that's the term. When I take a couple hundred photos at church I want to be able to apply the same edits to large groups of photos.

Nikon D-3300 18-55 VRII, 1971 Nikkor 135mm Q-Auto, Tamron 70-300 AF. Not much! But I'm working on mastering what I do have.

I'm not sure how PS handles batch editing, but I know that it can be done.  It's very easy in Lightroom.  :)

In Elements it's in File>Tools, I just need to figure out how to use it
