Upgraded today to the Nikon D7200 along with the new NIKON AF-S 80-400MM F/4.5-5.6G ED VR. Heading out to photography shorebirds tomorrow and was looking for some basic menu setting for my shoot. There is so much more in the 7200 menu than my old D50. Thanks for any info or tips.

That's my lightweight BIF rig, I use...

AE-L/AF-L rear button focusing

AF-C release

Focus tracking lock OFF

Ctr point or 9 for smaller BIF

 

Deadly combo, just keep your SS up  :D

 

Oops, just realized this thread is almost 2 months old...you've no doubt figured it out already....
