This is what happens when you spend too much time, photographing empty beer cans!

The "cookie tin" used to contain a wedding gift from one of our oldest friends.  Hopefully, we consumed the contents before they went bad.  Thankfully, the milk and cookies were fresh.  The added bonus was that I enjoyed a snack after I was finished!

As always, feedback is not only welcome, but strongly encouraged.  Thanks for looking everyone. :)

Mark,

I like the lighter, first exposure.  Not crazy about the black background, it is too overpowering for my taste.

A tan color may be easier on the balance.

Thanks, Art.

Good point about the background.  I liked the composition in the foreground, but there was something bugging me - I just couldn't quite figure out what until I read your comment.  That black foam core card is creating a lot of negative space.  Looks like another trip to JYSK this week.   :)

And perhaps a bit lower angle.

Thanks, Dennis.

Thanks, Art and Dennis.

At one of the companies I used to work for, one of our mottos was:  "feedback makes us better".  It definitely applies to my still life photography efforts.  I'm having a ball with this, and I really appreciate your comments.  :)

You are welcome.  A less harsh colour will fix it right!

Yesterday, I went to JYSK and bought a set of tan sheets.  I'm planning to reshoot this later this week.  Now I just have to find where Angela hid the cookies!  B)
