This was on a trip to Bonaventure Island off the coast of Perce, Quebec. This island is a topological oddity in that whether you are ascending or descending, it's always an uphill climb....or so it seemed. It was a 3 mile climb up some pretty steep terrain, but it was well worth the effort. I took the 200-500 lens for the hike, knowing that the zoom feature of the lens would be better than the Nike zoom required by the 500PF lens.
