I set the alarm for half past six this morning and dragged myself down to the coast to catch a high tide, rough seas and the sun coming up.

 

The temperature was just above freezing but with very little wind it was actually a really pleasant start to the day and I bagged a couple of shots I'm happy with.

very nice , i really like the hint of pastel skies again the deep rich color of the rocks.  awesome contrast, well done.

The first was was natural - by that I mean I didn't have to use a ND to get a long exposure as it was still fairly dark.
