Decided to go to a nature area situated only a few kilometers from where I reside.

Being a summer with plenty of rain, the grass is very long and difficult to spot any animals.

A few images of what I did manage to see...

Thanks, Jeff.

Plenty of "Scottish Beef" here! I'll trade a few for some of those wonderful Bald Eagle birdies you have out there? LOL

Nice ones Herman. Yes we're getting much rain here too. lt reminds me of 2007 when much of the USA got dumped on with so much rain.

Bill, perhaps we should swap weather.  Much of western Canada has been under extreme heat advisories since late June.  Southwest British Columbia (BC) hasn't had measurable rain since the start of June.  There probably won't be much improvement before the end of next month.  :(

Yes my mother and sister live near Seattle and they said it was 109 degrees one day last week. And l know Serbia has been having a heatwave for about 6 weeks.

Yup.  Seattle is about a 3 hour drive south of us, on the I-5.  My favourite jazz station is in Seattle, and they were talking a lot about the heat.  :)
