I don't know if this works.  What opinions are out there?

Exposure from the front is very good, I might open it up a stop or use a reflector to cast more light on the hair, top left.

You need some separation from the background.

A rim light from behind would help. It would make this image perfect.

Nice shot, Charles.  That said, Art makes a good point about the need for separation from the background.  :)

Nice work on this one.

Thanks, Dennis.

Thank you all for your comments.  She is standing in an open doorway. The room is dark.  I purposefully put her there. I was hoping with the black dress and black background, the white beads on the dress would pop.

That's pretty good for a 1 light setup against a low key background. You managed to break/separate her black dress from a black backdrop.

Nice workflow

Thank you, Greg.  Seldom do I have the luxury of a studio and make do with what I have available.  Brenda loved the shot. And, yes, it was the dress I was going for. Thank you all for your comments, they are always appreciated.
